Looking to re-home a dog/pup

Hi,
After just over 12mth of no dogs (all my cavaliers went to the bridge) we (my 2 children and I ) would now like to get another dog, either a pup or one thats in need of a new home of upto 3yr old. We are looking at anything really aslong as its good with the children and must like a cat. If anyone knows of a dog that needs a new home please PM me. We have been to cheshire dogs home but nearly all the dogs there say not good with young children, my 2 are 2yr old and 4yr old. I dont mind traveling to see a dog either.

Hope we can help someone out

Thanks, i couldnt have another Cavalier yet due to loseing all 3 to MVD. Reeno i had to make the decision as he went inti organ falier but he wanted to go, Disson his son we had no idea even the vets were shocked, he just curled up on the table with the vet having a cuddle and went he was just having chest xrays after his oxygen leavels dropped, he wasnt ill with MVD and was boucing around the day before he went.

I dont mind what dog we rehome pedigree or cross as long as we can off someone a good home.

Thanks, yes its great not only to have a dog again but also knowing that i have helped the little chap out and given him a new start to his life.
We were going to adopt a dog from cheshire dogs home last week but the dog we were looking after didnt like other dogs so we had to wait but he found a new home before we could get him, his name was Sultan so we just had to use it.
