Pleased that you enjoyed it. 40 dogs in a class seems a lot! How many instructors do you have?

We have about 40 dogs in ours as well. But our difference is we are split into 3 classes, BH/schH, family dog, and right now we have a starter BH class. We also have about 6-8 instructors with us. So we each get attention.

there was 2 intstructors the main instuctor took all the newbs to one side and showed us basics while other instuctor started the class then we intergrated into the class till the end .i thought the way they took the class with two instructors was fine ,the main instructor is very experienced and it showed in his class .he handled a few dogs from he class to show us how to give commands and he was like dr doolittle the dogs just did as he said it was very impressive .

Goodness, 2 instructors to 40 students!!

I find 4-6 students is a good number, anything over ten & I find it difficult to observe what everyone is doing, especially if the class comprises handlers/dogs at different levels of competence.

The main thing though is that you both enjoyed it. Keep up the good work

sorry shadow boxer i didnt tell you it was all beginers there 3 different lessons through the day beginers ,intermidiate and advanced ,so every one is more or less at the same level. I can see your point of less people but it seeemed to work well .if you are struggling you can book lessons 1 on 1 with the same trainer even at your house.
