Outcome from Smurphy Murphy's trip to the vets lat nite

I found a big lump on Murphy's front left elbow joint a few evenings ago and he's had really bad diorahrea (sp) over the last few days so hubby and I too him to the vets last nite.

Vet seems to think that Murphy has a food intolerance to something so he is to have NOTHING other that his James Wellbeloved and if we need to treat him then we are to use the kibble and we'll see how it goes and as for the lump the vet has given him Rimadyl for 7 days and wants him back in a weeks time, he's not sure what it is, its not painful for Murphy but it is making him slightly lame and that quite a concern for a 1 yr old rottie, so if its still there in a weeks time he's gonna have x-rays done

Also I have got another trainer/behaviourist coming round ot the house on Tuesday to see Murphy, had a long chat with her on the phone a few days ago and she specialises in Dobermans andhas dobs of her own so and she was recommended to be so fingers crossed all goes well

Hope it clears up soon and anx-ray isn't needed Stephanie.
