New dog-related film - please noooooo!

Just saw an advert for a kids' film called Firehouse Dog. It looks pretty awful actually, but worst of all...

...it's an Irish terrier in it. I really hope it turns out to be a totally flop, because I can't bear the thought of ITs being top of every child's Christmas list

(There is something to be said for being on the vulnerable native breeds list )

The Clumber Spaniel people were grateful that Clumbers weren't readily available when one one Crufts. There is something to be said for not being popular!

Are you sure its an irish terrier as thats a very big dog?

Saw the trailer recently at the cinema.

The dog is a film star, a very famous dog, and I think he falls out of his private jet and gets picked up as a stray, befriends a boy, whose father is a firemen, and the dog becomes a hero.... of course!

I've seen this film advertised, it does look truly awful.
I doubt that it will be popular enough to have the awful effect something like 101 dalmations had. Let's hope not

I must admit...the trailer looked pretty poor!!!hehe!! But as said by Pam2 I dont think the film will have the same effect as 101 dalmations....seems more like a tv series than a film!!!!
