Further to Nippy's thread about presents that make you cry

I gave my Dad this picture, framed in a lovely old, wooden frame yesterday for Christmas:



I thought he'd like the fact that we both look so similar, happy and Daddy/Daughter in it.

Well, he did like it. He was so touched he burst into tears and sobbed. So that set us all off!!

Bless him, silly, sentimental old fool. Love you Daddy xx

Sorry to make you cry Granny Nippy! I just adore my Dad, we're very close! When my Mum left us he took on raising a 12 and 14 year old very well, even if I do say so myself.

It's actually not a very flattering picture of either of us, but there is something very special about it I think (gunna set myself off again ;o)
