Something Nice

Something nice happened today

Mr Boss turned up with a letter for me whilst I was working.
I opened it. Inside was a £10 Argos gift voucher, and the following letter

Following the road accident in which you assisted a young child I would like to pass on my thanks and that of Whitefriars Housing Group for the actions that you undertook. You acted in a calm, professional and caring manner towards the child and other members of the public. You are to be commended for taking an active part until the emergency services arrived, and to show our appreciation for the professionalism you showed I am happy to enclose a small gift in a way of a thank you.

Which was very nice indeed

And my car passed its MOT too. Bonus

Excellent news, Gaz. I know it's not a fortune, but just shows that people are grateful that others actually care....

Hope you're ok now, sweetie x

Its really great to have some appreciation, and totally unexpected. That lad was lucky you were on the scene.
