Spit - 5 year old male Patterdale
Spit, male Patterdale, DOB 09.07 – Cheddleton, Stafford
Homing Requirements: Spit needs a terrier owner who will retain him safely on an extender lead outside. A home that has a terrier proof garden (6' panel fencing with no stepping stones!), locked 6 foot gates with secondary gate if used and exit management around front door use. He is a Patterdale! He could live with another dog as now but not for cats or small furries. Spit has not been around children.
His Story: Spit grew up with an elderly lady and being 'terrier' he ruled the roost. He was taken in by a busy family with teenagers, cats and small furries and arrived without house training plus. Conclusion is he needs a family geared to his needs and without cats, small furries and with a secure garden; the opposite to his current homing. His family are holding him until he is re-homed. Spit has neutered, vaccinated and is being chipped.
Advert: Spit is your archetypal Patterdale and has many medals as "true to breed". He knows language; Sit = quite well. Food = will wait for the command of 'Good dog' before eating. Outside = toilet. He lives in a disciplined home but they have needed to conclude that cats and small furries are too much for him to bear as he naturally places them at risk. He can get out of their garden and his safety determines the quest for a new family for him.
Spit is a Patterdale to his paw tips. He is broken coated, small in stature but big in personality. Spit needs an active regime to support his exploratory nature and the ability to relax in his own home. He lives with a Labrador and has doggie friends, so could be a terrier savvy family’s second dog or only canine friend.
