When I was married we watched that on tv, I wasn't happy about it. Anyway we went to bed and I couldn't sleep. I noticed that the sliding wardrobe door was open, and I swear Pennywise might've been hiding in there.
So, I thought I'd get hubby to go and shut the door as I was too scared.
I gently shook him, no response, so I tapped him on the shoulder.......

"Mwah ha haaaaaa!!!!!"
he had been dreaming about the movie and when I woke him up he was Pennywise !

He got a battering for that I can tell you, I've never been so scared!.... but at least he shut the door, lol.

sorry beckyc made me really laugh

Mine is moths, birds, butterflies, bats... Anything that flies in an unpredictable manner.

I was once locked in my Dad's flat all day as a bird had managed to get into the foyer.

I even saw a psychologist to try and get me over the moth and butterfly phobia, as they bring out the worst (and most embarrassing) reaction in me by far. We got to the point where I was to hold a dead one that she brought in, in a jar.

However, and I believe her, she genuinely thought it was dead, and even looking back at it, I thought so too. It was very motionless.

As I went to hold it, it flew towards my face. Suffice to say that I never went back and just decided to live with it.

To a much lesser extent, I have a bit of a morbid fear of "tramps" too. That goes back to a childhood nightmare I used to regularly have of an old tramp who lived in a tin hut and used to roast babies in an oil-drum. So much for bedtime stories...

Bugs !! The only ones I like are butterflies & ladybirds. Spiders freak me out. Daddy longlegs, earwigs, beetles... urgh !!
And those massive moths, the ones that are soooooo big you can hear them go "thud" when they hit your window.

And, yes, clowns ! China dolls, those "reborn" baby dolls, they are evil !
