Lynn - it is great "fun" being able to look at the macolet 50m away and know I cannot get there. As for going to my doctor - that is my problem, not that of anyone here, so I will not mention anything about my problems again.

I do apologise to everyone for mentioning my problems and will not do so again. I wish everyone a good evening and a good night.

Malka, so sorry you are having major problems in more ways than one. I'm afraid there is nothing that any of us can do to help you other than sympathize which we do of course. Have you got enough pain killers to ease your pain? I hope Pereg is ok. I would love to turn the bally hose on those wretched arabs. Do take care of you.

Moyra - I have already said I will keep my problems to myself. I can not get out of my home at all now, as I have also said, so all I have is what I have here. And that includes medication and food for me.

I have more than enough for Pereg and that is all that is important.

I do not think it right that I impost my problems on this thread again therefore in future I will keep my problems to myself.

Thank you for caring.

Malka can you phone them at the macelot and get them to come over with basics at least. Good job you went to the market the other week, mind you that won't last forever.
What about letting the doctor know WHY you can't attend the surgery and maybe they'll do what they did last time when your neighbour made them come to you. Its dreadful that its happening all over again already

There is a 35cm drop from the pavement, and even a 20cm drop from the tractor path which has [had] a dropped kerb built when they did the pavements.

The macolet is 50 metres from my bungalow and the clinic maybe another 50m if that behind the macolet, but in order to get to the macolet I would have to try to get Xanadu 5 kilometres via pavements [mostly blocked by large wheelie bins or cars that cannot get out], round the roundabout at the entrance to the Moshav [with no guarantee that I would be able to get off the pavement and onto the road there] and then along a couple of km where there are no pavements, round the back of the schools, and then some tiny side roads, just to get to the macolet.

And then the same back home.

So seeing my GP was out of the question.

Incidentally, one more attack on Pereg and I will really cause them problems. I can understand that some of the Arab workers hate dogs but I will not put up with stones being thrown at her much longer. This afternoon I heard her yelp, went outside and when the worker saw me he all of a sudden jumped down from the kerb at the edge of the pavement and said "that mad dog just bit me, you saw it bite me". Hello you idiot - yes I saw you standing on the edge of pavement and jump down as soon as you saw me come out - and I also saw that my "mad" dog could not have gotten anywhere within three metres of you, if that.

A bit later another of them was watering down the stones, sand and cement on what will be the base of the new road, from a hose attached to the nearest water hydrant, and he deliberately turned and aimed it at Pereg, soaking her. He knew I had seen it because my door was open and he could see me sitting here - so I went out and he turned the bdooly hose on me.

And laughed.

I am just glad I had heaved myself out on my crutches and did not go on Xanadu because the water would have blown his motors/power cables.

And there is absolutely nothing I can do about it, because if I make a complaint I will be accused of being racist because they are Arabs. And they know it which is why they are getting away with it.

Malka oh dear that really is not good not being able to get the DR. Or the men throwing stones and aiming hoses at Pereg and you.

Poor Gorden had heard nothing from the fraud dept., about our account being hacked so popped to Tesco in his lunch to buy some packet coffees and his card wouldn't work. it had been blocked. he ring the dept., they apologised they hadn't let him know. Mine is ok as we have different numbers so when I went to pick Michael up I picked up his coffee's they were half price that offended him more.

We had an account hacked a few years ago and had to have new cards. Someone also tried to buy magazines on line on his credit card a few years ago too the credit card people were suspicous and stopped the payment plus the time someone tried to spend £10 in a corner grocery shop on his credit card they stopped that too .

Malka I think you have the wrong end of the stick there Lynn has not said anything about your problems being funny or similar in fact as you can see from the above this is all Lynn has said since you posted about your issues. No one has made light of them in fact appears to be just the opposite as far as I can see.

Evening all - and I very much doubt that I will remember everything that I wanted to say, but here goes.

TW, I am holding my breath here for Keshi to remain revolting poop free, so please make sure that you give regular updates Thank goodness that none of the others have succombed, so it really does point to something that she alone ingested, rather than a virus.

Lore, what a rotten day. I am hoping here that you did better than you imagine you did in that exam, and maybe your subconscious too over to good effect.......sometimes it does go that way doesn't it. Whatever the outcome, what is done is done and do try not to dwell on it until you know what the results are.

H old bean, will you please stop making me feel inadequate It is a good feeling though when you have a day of "getting things done", which largely is not reliant on others - those "others" can seriously disrupt a day and it's attendant good intentions can't they.

Lynn, that man with his silly attitude probably did your blood pressure no good at all What was Dillon supposed to do when someone encourages him to go up to say hello? As for the hacked into account - is there somewhere that Gorden regularly uses his card? A petrol station for example. Not so long ago, in this area there were two scams going on.........one was the petrol station, and the other was a small shop. They were cloning cards right left and centre it seems. Of course it might be online fraud, but I think it is too easy to jump to this conclusion when the answer could be right on the doorstep.

Nippy, what a lovely day you had Who needs other people when you can enjoy yourself like that. (Cuddles for Pepsi please )

Tang, Munch is gorgeous! I cannot tell you how delighted I am that things are going so well with Martin.

Jenny, for the life of me I cannot remember what is happening to you, but I know that teeth are involved to you anyway!

I did all the shopping today for the sprog and her family when they come to dog sit on Wednesday, and have cleaned their bedroom as well as the kitchen - mind you, his lordship will probably muck that particular area up again Dog food, dog treats, bird food etc. etc. are all topped up, and detailed instructions for the routine at present (including ABs for the Jimster) have been typed out. Washing is in progress, and a list of things such as putting out the green recycling bin on Thursday is being prepared. Making up the beds and packing can wait until tomorrow. His lordship thinks that preparations mean filling the car with petrol.

Not entirely sure why you are suddenly attacking Lynn, Malka. She has said absolutely nothing to warrant your outburst.
