'morning Malka and everyone above and those who follow of course.

Managed to get on the 'puter early this morning, will have a quick scan around to see what you were up to last night and then I have to go.

Sun is shining and could be a nice Autumn day, Rianna sleeping in bedroom and snoring like an express train, she'll be there for a few hours now as she opted to be out last night and I'm slowly comming round to the belief that dogs don't really sleep deeply when they are outside at night.

Malka, are the road builders from hell still working outside your place

Well they started by doing the pavements...

...then they had a break for Succot and then Shabbat, so started again yesterday...

...ripping up the roads

In the meantime they still have not cleared my steps and front path, which are both covered with stones and the earth and dirt they jumped in my front yard so although they finished my ramp the rest is just a dump.

Malka, those construction teams sure have a sauce, the cheek of it all.

Harvey, I hope your new home purchase is moving forward ok.

Nippy, Jenny, I hope your weather is much better down there today.

I do hope Lynn will be back soon now Gorden has been paid. As long as she can afford to have the pc repaired.

Oh Eileen, your poor OH. But you say he is itchy and shingles are painful [very] but not normally itchy. If it is chickenpox then the spots usually come up as blisters, not as a big blotchy rash. I do hope he is OK as he will be stuck if he has chickenpox or something else that is contagious otherwise how would he get home?

[Memories of having to get my children doped up to get them on the plane home from the US when they had whooping cough - they fell asleep as soon as they were seated and belted up, and I had to wake them when we had landed and everyone else was off the plane - the cabin crew did their nuts when I told them why I had not woken the children until then.]
