Awwww jenny fancy having to go back to get a prescription.
I wonder sometimes why we have a Dr's surgery. We do tend to be a bit of a nuisance to them and their staff.
Then 3 bags of washing.
Hope you feel better soon.
Malka is it still raining ?

I am not taking Dillon out again for a second walk he went bonkers, nicked my little gnome in a rowing boat which used to sit by the pond. he managed to get him off a wall nd was running around the garden with him.
Luckily he didn't break he was a present from the children for a birthday. he did manage to knock an empty flower pot off the wall and smash it. he was then haring around launching himself at me and so we had a game he seems to of settled now.
I'm ready for bed.

Aw Jenny, sorry you're so poorly, can't you just down tools and go to bed after the boys' walks.
At least you don't have to go to the stream and pound those 4 loads between 2 rocks, but still anything gets you down when you feel as rough as you obviously do.
Would offer you a bed in sick bay but some nutter came in last night with a 12 bore and shot the place full of holes We were only trying to help
Wish I lived closer then I could take the boys out (NOT with the Norties it may rub off) and do the washing at least.
Please try to have a day off at some point and sleep whatever it is off.
Your poor friend Helena, can they let the house or something and come back to the UK and rent over here.
There is always always someone worst off than yourself isn't that the truth. Things are worse when you're in a strange country, you need your friends close at times like this.

Hi All,Sorry but just getting in a state, and need to get some positive feedback.
As you know we have been working with our nervous puppy, now due to an accident next door they had scaffolding up,and because the weather has been good, they just came and took the scaffolding though next door had been asking when but not getting a reply,so they came and dismantled it,nobody knew, but in dismantling it a piece hit our window,it has cracked, but Faye is back to how she was months ago we had to coax her out,she showed real agression, feeding she is back to being scared.I am hoping the shock will wear off and this is only temporary/Because its going to be horrendous if we have to go back to the beginning. Its nobody's fault/
but feel sick at what is going to happen.Gemini54

So it was sooo cold this morning. -2C when I went to work. It's only 7 now at nearly noon. High of 12 today... but the sun is brilliant today. It's supposed to be back up into the 20s by the weekend. I'm not happy that winter's on the doorstep.

I don't have to have thanksgiving alone this year... I'm going to be cooking for my roommate and his girlfriend, so I'm really happy about that. Hopefully I can figure out the oven by then lol. Its really wonky. I dont cook alot, so it could end up a disaster. Thankfully I have a few weeks to prepare lol. I don't think I'll do a turkey tho. Might be a chicken or a ham instead, we'll see.

Mouse is on ab's the whole side of her face swelled up and abscessed. I think she got a popcorn husk up inside her gums. Poor baby. If it's not one thing, its 2 more!

I'm pretty sure she's going completely blind. She's getting hand shy and seems to have trouble seeing when she used to be fine. I probably told you all about this already. But she worried me again last night. She decided the window was something scary and was freaking out at it all night... dunno why. And she's been just fine with that window for months... it's sad to see her becoming afraid of things that she used to either love (like strangers) or ignored. She'll see a specialist in November, but I dont expect anything can be done to help. I'm wondering if her seizures aren't due to her eyesight I cant remember what it's called photo-something-epilepsy.

Lynn - no more rain since the last lot but four heavy bouts this early in the year is unusual - very welcome though. I had to close the louvres in all the back room windows as the rain was coming through them onto the screens, then splashing through onto whatever is under those windows, as the actual windows will stay open until winter arrives. And rain does not mean winter as it has been nearly as hot as usual - it is 28°C in my salon at the moment, at 9pm with the door wide open, and I only had to have the air-con on for a couple of hours.

The rain was almost horizontal and comes from the West - and the back of the bungalow faces west so it has been rather dark apart from the salon as that is at the front.

It meant that the light has had to be on in the kitchen all day, plus I had to switch it on in the back room whenever I wanted anything from one of the cupboards or Pereg's freezer.

I really should check the forecast for tomorrow as the macolet will be closing at 2pm and will be closed all day Thursday for Simchat Torah, and I used up the last of the EVOO on my salad today. Thought I had a spare bottle in the store cupboard in the back room but I woz rong.

Lol at Bella Pat.

Helena, I hope your man recovers.

I had a busy day, no PE, my pupil wasn't in, so was running around for another support teacher. Second period, same thing, but ended up with a pupil who is scared of going to class. The rest of the day was usual, two periods of home economics and then geography and English.

Davie is feeling better but is annoyed. I spoke to his guidance teacher, they are concerned that he's hanging around with older boys, well found out one is my second cousin Evan, Davie hero worships Evan. The other problem was geography, I was talking to our geography teacher, the lesson he was being taught about contours and relief, is not normally taught till third year. We teach it in cadets, to 14 and 15 year olds! No wonder the kid didn't understand it. The Geography teacher I spoke to has given me some old models to help him understand it, she is great. Fingers crossed he will be able to understand it now.

However, his behaviour was not acceptable, so he has still no access to his Xbox. Also he answered a teacher back, not on, definitely. So he has to apologise to both teachers.

As for the bullying, it will be dealt with, his guidance teacher is going to speak to the boys involved. So fingers crossed it's nipped in the bud.

This evening I shall be revising yet again, first coffee and chill for a bit.

Sara - Mouse's seizures could be Photo Sensitivity or Photo Stimulation seizures, especially as you think that she is losing what little sight she had.

Poor little adorable Mouse - please give her an extra cuddle from me. xx

Malka since you seem to be the resident expert, can seizures be a seasonal thing? She had three last fall/early winter then didn't have another one until last week. It's curious.
