Well I assure you I don't and I bet you wouldn't survive on the £54 pw I get for my daughter and I and yes I pay my gas electric ,water, telephone etc out of that its not paid for me so stop making it sound like I have an easy time of it.
Now i will crawl back under the stone you have made me feel i should hide under !
with all due respect though, you dont have 6 kids, and no desire or care to work.

Nobody on here is saying that for those who need benefits when the worst happens or due to health reasons shouldnt get it - after all thats what social security is all about.... BUT its the underclass of society who live their lives and generations of lives on benefits that none of us can stand.

The expectation from birth that nodody need work as they can get what they need from the system without contributing from it is the issue here.

I am sorry that you feel you are being picked on, but I wont apologise for my comments about the benefit class. I am not talking about people who cannot work for whatever reason I am talking about those who WILL NOT work and there is a huge difference,

The worst thing is that the child just born doesnt stand a chance and will end up oin the same vicious circle that her parents are in, where all they see is the system used and abused and therefore have no need to better herself....

Dani has said it, really.

There are two different of people who claim benefits. Those who are genuinly unable to work due to ill health but would like to work.

And those who are nothing but scrounging, lazy bugg*rs who think the state is their personal bank account, who have no desire to get off their a*ses and work, so instead breed more in order to claim more money from the government, taxpayers hard earned money, at that. I, for one, am sick of paying for them and their offspring.

My father disappeared off the scene when I was about 4. He has given me nothing since them to support my upbringing, and still my family dit not scrounge off the government to bring me up.

The mother and her family have multiple brats, and no job, therefore, we as taxpayers are paying for their existance! And now we have another mouth to feed which is very likely to go down the same route. Poor thing.

I'm sorry you feel threatened, but I will not retract anyting I have said and the two different groups of people who claim benefits is a fact. We all know that. It makes my bloody boil.

I am not disputing there are scroungers I know a few myself. But I hate being on benefits and the way your posts are written makes it sound like we are all the same and lumps us all in one basket.
It riles me to be tarred with the same brush. Although why anyone would choose to be on benefits is beyond me as it is a real struggle to survive and not the life of luxery you paint it to be.
Remember before you judge that they are on benefits you don't know the reasons for them either.
I don't like thier morals with thier children at all its disgusting but doesn't mean there is not a genuine reason they are not working.

Couldn't agree more!!

Also,am I the only one who finds the thought of a 15 year old girl and a 12 year old boy disturbing? Girls are very mature at 15....boys at 12 are just that....little boys! I find the thought of kids having sex at all wrong like everyone else...BUT this is just strange for want of a better word

Agree with you on that one. 15 year old girls usually look to the older boys, not always, but usually.
Especially as he very much looks his age, not a bot wh looks a lot oder. When I saw the pic of them together holding that baby I thought she was his Mum!
Definitely strange....... wrong in fact.

Oh, I agree that the "awful old man" is just disgusting and I would cringe if I were in the same vicinity.

Trouble is, like I said, with the Playboy merchandise, it really doesn't mean much to kids. They like pink and bunnies and that's as far as it goes. As a parent, you have to be careful not to keep saying no. It's difficult as so many children a virtually wild. Doing what they like, when they like, smoking, drinking and sex of course! My kids have so many boundaries that I don't want to keep holding them down. When my Daughter asked for a Playboy bedroom when we were decorating I couldn't see the harm. It obviously hasn't led her into any immoral behaviour. She is one of a very few of her friends that is still 'innocent.' I just keep tabs on my kids, know where they are at all times, no walking the streets or anything. My kids don't even go to school in the County that we live in, as I managed to get my eldest (well she got herself in by exam results) into a better school.

I think that childrens behaviour is learned from their parents and older family members. My OH and I have been married for 17 years, have a stable relationship and so does all my family and my OH's family. Also, all my Nieces and Nephews that are older are decent hardworking people (teachers/police officers and so on). Therefore, my girls grow up knowing right from wrong My fifteen year old is more interested in animals than boys (thank god - phew )

I agree with this.

Sorry, but there is suspiciously more to this when young girls want this sort of thing. I wouldn't have dared to have been known to have Playboy stuff when I was a teenager (not so long ago) and I still wouldn't want this sort of stuff! It's awful, and believe me, I'm no prude.

The fact that the Playbody slogan is on pencil cases etc disgusts me and shouldn't even be allowed to be on this sort of thing.

I think you've led a very sheltered life. Your comment about "suspiciously more to this" made me laugh. Honestly Nicola, when (if) you have kids, you'll see life very differently. You wouldn't get kids better brought up than mine and to hear the way you are talking, you'd think they were on the road to prostitution because of a few pink products with bunnies on! You really need to lighten up

Got to agree!
Only a few years ago women hated 'Playboy', and what it stood for, and what it portrayed women to be.
Why would you want to be associated with the porn industry (and lets face it, it might be pink and a cute bunny, but it's still a porn symbol!)

Glad it made you laugh, CC.

I don't need to do anything, because you have said so.

What I said about the Playboy thing is putting it mildly, believe me.
