Side effects?

Chance was given 4 x Rimadyl Pal 20 mg and 5 x Rilexine 300 mg. Has anybody ever used these both together before because he seems really drowsy?

He is still eating and drinking though

I have used these Rilexine, they caused severe irritation to my dog causing blood loss, his feaces were liquid and full of fresh blood and he had to go on a course of cimetidine he now as a warning sign on the computor at the vets to not issue these anti-biotics. Never used rymadol though.

Hi Sara,
It was after the 7th day and at first just spotting, just keep an eye out for loose stools, if he starts to go loose just watch for any signs of blood. I am sure he will be fine, not all dogs react the same to medications.

Our Charlie, a "littlte white dog", has a ream of conditions associated with these dogs, including rash, and dodgy knees. Had knees fixed last week. Put on Rilexene for rash and anti-biotic post surgery. He's going CRAZY now-hyperactive and rash worse. Could it be reaction to Rilexene as well? Also on Previcox. Seeing Vet tomorrow.
