Frontline Side effects..?

Have your dogs been effected anyway from the use of Frontline ..??

I prefer Advantix, but only because our dogs work in a very tick prone area with high incidence of Lyme Disease. Avantix prevents ticks from attaching to the dog in the first place, whereas Frontline only kills after the tick has had a meal.

Are you having problems with Frontline? Random (and entirely useless aside, sorry!), I used to work along the corridor from some of the people who developed it.

Toro developed a bald patch...never used it again

I use Frontline Plus and neither dog has ever had a problem with it. I am going to check if I can get Advantix but am not sure if it is available here, although as Frontline seems to be fine I am not sure whether I should, in fact, change it.

Frontline(fipronil) is one of the safest pesticides that actually works!there is a cheaper version now called effipro.

It is non systemic that is partly why it is so safe.

Re dogs n cats not liking it....its the smell ime.

I do have it in at all times although I use teatree spray 95% of the time, but I have never had a problem with it and its always seemed a safe one here

Re the bald patch..its usually through scratching the area it was applied to....It goes slightly numb for a short while...I know because I have ocasionaly ingested it myself!!!....numb lips for a short while lol..other than that I'm fine and flea free.lol
