Dog walks in south west London?

Hi all, im new to London and am looking to make some doggy friends in the area so would love to find a dog walk in my local area to take my Xolo along to. Im living in new Malden so preferably around that area but I am willing to travel a little as hes brilliant with public transport.

Hopefully somebody can help me, as I have no idea where to look, I've found google searching to be most unhelpful!

Same time as wimbledon common. It's possible to walk from one to t'other (crossing the A3) Robinhood gate.

Hello! We're not far off Hopefully Whichpets will be along soon, I think she was in your area so might have some suggestions. Best to explore on foot, bet there's loads of little local parks nearby.

Wimbledon common, Richmond park and Bushy park are all worth the trip
Oxshott common ( I think it's called)
Esher common
I go to Hounslow Heath but its probably a bit far for you.

Into Surrey way there's Box Hill, the Devil's Punchbowl etc. probably no good for daily walkies but good for a specific weekend trip

Hello!

I used to work in New Malden so know the area well.

Very near you is Richmond park (Ladderstile or kingston gate are nearest for you probably).

Bushey park is near Hampton court (just over kingston bridge.. if you have good dogs you can walk right from kingston along the thames and to bushey park)
Bushey:

(Please be aware there are wild deer in both Bushey and Richmond park)

Horton Country park (chessington way - about 10 mins from new malden)

Oxshott Woods (connected to Esher woods - around 15-20 mins from new malden)

Nonsuch park:

Hurst Park (Molesey/Hampton Court)
It is along the thames:

And finally wimbledon common, also lovely and very near you. Can't find a pic of that one!

If you dont drive:
From kingston the 111, 216, 411 will take you to hampton court for Bushey and hurst park

71 from kinston will take you to chessington for horton and epsom common.

You should be able to get buesses around new malden to get to wimbledon and richmond.

Hope this helps if you've made it to the end
