I love it
Some people complain that it is kinda set out as if you are running a class but I liked that

basically loads of usefull exercises and games to calm a reactive dog, rev up a laid back dog and get focus and fun

It is supposed to be for agility dogs but I think it can help all dogs
My only problem is some of the exercises are not possible if you dont have your own class and barriers and things, but the things you can do are great and it really helps with thinking about how to build up exercises

I found it a very interesting read and a lot of it applies to reactive dogs in any situation. Some criticism is that it only applies to agility but I totally disagree, so much can be used in a real world application. I have found the Look At That game an invaluable alternative to a solid Watch Me command, which just wasn't working for Cain. It would be even better if you could attend proper Control Unleashed classes as the book intends, but there is still much useful information and exercises that a dog owner can practise themselves in every day environments.

There are classes that specialise in this area and that have the environment needed, but they are few and far between.

LADS have some. (learning about dogs)

Excellent book imo. Like Moons Mum, I found the "Look at That!" game invaluable. Watch me doesn't work with Rupert. He can keep his eyes glued to me but every other sense tuned in to that scary other dog and he actually becomes MORE reactive when asked to watch me. Some of the exercises you can't do solo but if you know other dog owners who are willing to help you could probably improvise on the barriers. Or not use the barriers at all, depends on your dog.

It definitely isn't just useful for those who do or want to do agility. Even without a problem dog I'd say it's a good book to read.
