In the merry month of May, From my home I started,
Left the girls of Tuam, Nearly broken hearted,
Saluted father dear, Kissed my darlin' mother,
Drank a pint of beer, My grief and tears to smother,
Then off to reap the corn, And leave where I was born,
I cut a stout blackthorn, To banish ghost and goblin,
In a brand new pair of brogues, I rattled o'er the bogs,
And frightened all the dogs,On the rocky road to Dublin.

I wonder if I ever dare run a bath again, now we have had a water meter fitted today?

Parker and Cherry got offered a free sausage from a group of people having a barbecue by the river on our walk tonight. It had fallen off their barbecue and they asked if the dogs would like it. Jamie was a bit jealous

God knows how but my car has made it through its mot with only a tyre and indicator bulb needing replacing! Shocked...just a little...its a shed on wheels!
