Sounds like it could possibly be a side effect of the Vetoryl. Why don't you ask your vet?

Hi and welcome. Rocky is an old lad and many older dogs do start peeing more frequently and unfortunately inside. As has already been mentioned it could be a side effect of the meds he is on. If it has suddenly come on, ask the vet to check him for a UTI (urinary tract infection) which could be cleared up with antibiotics. I had a 15yrs old bitch and she suffered from 'dementia' in the last few years and she would sometimes pee inside. We need extra patience with older dogs! Good luck and I hope you can sort it out.

Not sure about the meds but Anoushka had trouble holding her bladder when she got older (she was only 11) maybe try an extra trip outside in the night and during the day?

Sounds like he's gotten inconcontinent maybe, if he couldn't get down from the bed maybe? is there a step out to the garden? just wondering if he's feeling a little stiff too and can't manage any steps etc?

Hi Eve, If you look at 'Cushings Disease in Dogs' on the web, you'll find that excessive urination is a common symptom. I'd check all of you dog's symptoms with your vet and ask what can be done. Good luck and keep us informed.

Could well be a UTI. A dog I used to look after with cushings frequently contracted UTI's. Vet visit necessary I would think.
