Putting weight on

hay
bandit is 6 months old now and is going through his skinny stage, but he is a little on the extra skinny side. could i feed him a bit of pasta to build him up abit?

Pasta is fine, not sure how much weight it would put on though. Try goats milk too.

i would up the fat and the protein rather than the carbs.

raw lamb does wonders

lamb is nice and fatty also the woman i worked for when wanting a bit of extra weight on her dogs would give them a baked potato with their meal. they loved it and it seemed to work.

problem i have is cost, OH lost his job and dole payin him a pittance of £3/week

no he can eat anything lol. yer he had drontal tablets.

dogs will take no benefit from raw tats,they cant digest them,they have to be cooked.

suet is great because its animal based and very fatty..and they seem to luuurrrvvve it

yeah cooked. the woman i used to work for fed them to her flatties when they were looking a bit thin, just used to "bake" them in the microwave. theyd wolf them down
