Hee hee

It's on here just now - not seen it for years.

I always remember (as a kid) the bit where the mum turns around and all the kitchen chairs are piled up.

I know there are much scarier films than that now, but every time I watch it, it's like going back to being a teenager watching it while babysitting, and scaring myself stupid

I was wondering what had happened to the little girl as i had not seen her in any other movies bar the poltergiests..
So i looked her up and just read that she passed away at only 12...
Made me sad..

I have to admit that me and my mum have a terrible habit of viewing horror films as comedies... and we sat and laughed our heads off all the way through Poltergeist taking the mickey out of it.

Had a family friend here (who died last month ) and he was one of the biggest men you'd ever know - and pooing his pants in terror at it while me and mum were howling with laughter.

Apparently the films were plauged with many problems, the vicar in the second died just after filming was finished as well as the indian character as he came down with stomach cancer as I remember! the Little girl also died just after the third was finished! was rather weird what happened to em all! lots of people thought the films were cursed! who knows?
