I wasn't born till 1971 so I wasn't about but my mum and dad are staying with us just now and it was mentioned tonight.

An aside - I had to laugh. My older brother was a wee lad back then and it seems he wouldn't shut up so they sent him to bed and he missed it all LOL

Russia were knocking spots off the USA in all the Space 'firsts' so the USA decided to...."Go to the Moon"

How the hell they did it beats me.......

The technology was rubbish by today's standards. Even today it would be a bigger thing than we've ever done, so 40 years ago could they do it ?

I've read all the conspiracy theories and watched all the tv shows but I'm undecided.

My heart says - Unlike today's Health and Safety gone mad age when we wouldn't even try it never mind be able to afford it I can just about buy into the fact that back then the world was brave and they really did just fire those guys off without a hope in hell and pulled it off.

My head says - Sorry - How the hell did they do it.

I mentioned Concorde to my daughter the other day and she laughed when I said we used to fly to America at the speed of sound. She asked me why we can't do it now........

That makes two of us then, I think they did it too.Although I think its all a huge waste of money, and going off into space hasn't brought the planet any great benefit.

This is compulsive watching. The more I look into the 'moon landing' the more I think it didn't happen.

To be honest I'm not that bothered! If they did land on the moon so what, if not it wouldn't really suprise me if they faked it, I've just always gone along with the veiw they did it, but no offence it doesn't really interest me.

I've had a quick look at part one and it looks more interesting than I thought it would, my partner would enjoy watching it !

I think it is important, if they can lie about such a big thing in their history then what else can they lie about...911, aliens the list is endless.
It is a good documentary, and the spokesman from NASA doesn't acutally answer the claims with any conviction esp later on in the documentary.
