Hello

Hi
I joined back in 2012 but haven't actually ever posted anything. I figure now's the time!!

I live in Scotland with Hubby, my dogs and ponies. Dogs are:
Jack and Russell, brothers from an unplanned litter. They were the only ones left and nobody seemed to want them. No prizes for guessing their breed! Snook and Boo, also brothers who we got as puppies. They came to us via a friend who responded to an 'iffy' advert in a shop window. We're not sure what their history is. Neither sire or dam weren there and the guy selling them didn't seem to know what breed they were or how old. We think they are Bedlington whippet cross. And we also have Breeze and Rumo, two retired greyhounds. Breeze came to us as a foster with a smashed hock. His trainer had tried to strap it up himself and left it for a few days before seeking medical help. Long story short, we took on one very traumatised and lame dog. He fitted in with the family so well and he came with so much baggage that we couldn't bear to put him through the stress of another move, so we kept him. Breeze was our first foster and our first fail. Rumo is a another retired greyhound. He'd been racing with a damaged wrist, being pumped full of painkillers to keep him going. He now has permanent damage and is on metacam every second day. He was our second foster. And our second fail. I'm not allowed to foster anymore!!

Welcome to Dogsey, I too have running dogs and terriers and an unfortunate habit of "collecting" other peoples leftovers! Always good to know I'm not alone in my daftness!
