showing boxers

im after a bit of advise for a freind he has a boxer pup who he wants to start showing ,i know a little on showin staffs but have no idea on boxers hes from the north west aswell so if anyone knows of any clubs that would be helpfull .i dont know his pedigree name but will find out, he is a mad liverpool fan and his has called him shankley

He needs to take him to ringcraft classes who have someone who knows how to show a Boxer. They do seem to be shown in a different manner to most dog and a large amount of bait and/or toys are thrown but I do not know the if they are free stood or not but think not, so why the throwing of bait I don't know.

If the Secretaries of the Boxer Breed clubs can't help with a ringcraft class then your friend can contact the KC who will give him the address and contact of and general ringcraft classes in his area. It is not usual for Breed Clubs to run ringcraft but a local one may be able to give him a contact for one. If he bought the dog localy then the breeder should be able to help.
