sounds like hook worm to me i have seen it before, if i was you make sure you get the dog a good all round wormer that will do everything, although advers reactions can happen they are vcery rare so no need to worry to much about previous posts

When I first read this I wondered why I was involved, then I read back and saw it was ME that started this thread. I am so sorry but I can't remember who's dog this applied to. I can only assume it all got sorted out in the end. If I have a lucid moment and remember who's dog it was, I will ask and get back to you on what happened.

Oooh how horrible. Definitely a vet job, no matter how nervous the dog. Better to have it properly treated than delay things because of the nature of the dog and perhaps end up regretting it.
