very very scared

One of my little huskies, about 16 weeks old is down at the vets right now. overnight she developed problems, she collapsed on her sides and started paddling and foaming at the mouth having seizures. she stands up and looks possessed and she doesnt respond like she cant hear or see anything and runs towards the walls bashing into things. She also has lockjaw. at first i thought it may be tetanus, but it seems different to what i have read, theres no sign of life in her when shes running around its like shes being controlled by something else. when she has the seizures her mouth opens and closes, then the seizure stops and she stands up and runs into walls with her legs stiff matching around. i hope the vet can help her. She was vaccinated at as puppy. i really hope its not tetanus. anyone else heard of a similar problem? i doubt its rabies as its vary rar eover here.

Sounds like it might be "simple" epilepsy, which can be controlled - see my article on Dogsey "Living with a dog with canine epilepsy" - there are some links there which might prove useful!

http://www.dogsey.com/dog-articles.php?t=14937

My Border Collie "Snorri" has lived with it for 7 years now, the last 6.5 (or thereby) with no fits.

Look at the article, and DON'T PANIC.

It sounds like an epileptic fit, which like Snorri says it can be controlled.

She is in the best place.
