Thanks, maybe I was a bit OTT, more realistically I just don't seem to need all the 'must have' things which we buy in our younger days, I see some TV adverts with clever marketing and think to myself 'Why do I need that'

But yes, sometimes the internet is useful for shopping, some specialised items for my hobby for example, but I buy them from businesses who have retail outlets and which I have met at exhibitions etc. so I do trust them.

I've been getting these things fairly regularly recently. I reckon it's to do with Play.com having an issue with customers' email addresses getting cracked a few weeks ago. Out of interest, has anyone else who's had these 'DHL' things dealt with Play.com in the past?

I also had an email yesterday from M&S saying their email addresses had been hacked, and to expect spam.

Used to get four or five of these a week, but they've slowed to two or three a month now. Similarly, the ones supposedly from various banks.

If those that spent their time doing things like this put their energies into something a little more productive, they'd earn a fortune.

I suppose a double negative is not much use but just for the record 'no' and 'no' does that prove anything no I thought not

Got one to day saying my account will be deleted in 3 days YIPPEE.

I got it at work this week. Asked IT to check it. It was a virus.

Well after getting all smug about not ever having had one, lo and behold this morning in my spam folder one from Express Deliveries arrived, looks like they've changed names to try and catch people out.

Wish I'd never opened my spam folder now 'cos it would have been deleted after one month anyway, but there is a daily update from one firm which i want to read which always goes into the spam folder, how can I stop that happening

I've only had the one so far, how odd.
