Sophie's weight update
For those who don't know, we got a rescue bulldog on the 23nd Feb - her name's Sophie and she's 6. She was grossly overweight at 29.7kg and hadn't been walked in a long time. We're her fourth and final home
We've been doing very short walks and slowly changing her diet to something more healthy than marshmallows and poor quality dog food. But I expected it to take ages to get any weight off her.
I've just had her weighed and she's lost a kilo!! She's now down to 28.75kg, in three weeks!
She came to us looking like a barrel - completely rugby-ball shaped from above. She's now got a waist on her and is looking more bulldog-like. She's a bit more active as well.
