Yorkie puppy

My 8 month old yorkie puppy jumped off the couch and hurt his leg his now only walking on 3 of his legs..my wife examined his leg and found and area which seems to irritate him with pressure applied, it does not hurt him to the touch..
should we wait a few days and see what happens or take him to the vet

please please give advice I want to make sure my little buddy is ok

Always visit the vet if in doubt. If it is his cruciate then acting sooner (strict rest) is better and may avoid need for surgery.

I haven't watched more than the first minute or so but this might be worth looking at:

Same goes if it is fractured. The sooner it is immobilised the better.

It may be just a bruise, but is it really worth taking the chance?

Ms.M you'll find that many people come on here ask a question and disappear never to be heard of again so you never discover what happened or how their dog is.
