Our Richmond Ch Show :) Gordon Setter/Field Spaniel

What a Sunday is all I can say.

Arrived in plenty of time for the JHA Semi Finals - Emily was in the 12-16 Gundog (an entry of 45!) Jess in the 6-11 Gundog (entry of 23 - although think a few absentees).

Flitted between rings to watch both the girls who did really well - neat patternwork, unflustered and confident.

Emily with Vinnie, Field Spaniel - a friends lovely dog - she only really started handling on Tuesday at training, a second training session on Thursday and then into the ring yesterday!

They bonded superbly and Vinnie was a star - she made the first shortlist!!! So proud of her Emily lacks alot of confidence but Vinnie was able to ensure she relaxed to enjoy the whole experience.

Jess being judged - Connor is a star and she has done so well with him - you could not ask for a better dog for a handler - but think Jess does get the best from him - he so wants to please x

Jess also got shortlisted but whoop - she came 2nd
I must admit although her pattern work was spot on - she thanked the judge and presented Connor superbly - the judge hardly gave her a second glance when reviewing her line up but possibly she already had her in mind???

The icing of the cake was qualifying Connor for Crufts - he has only attended two general champ shows this year as I have been giving him time to mature! Under a breed specialist too - very pleased.

We certainly had a celebratory glass of vino last night - the girls had juice lol!

I am very proud of both my girls for what they achieved yesterday - think we floated home!

Thanks for looking

One very proud mum x

Thanks Dawn - that's right usually all in the BIS ring but think because of the numbers of 12-16 gundog just not possible for all to be under that.

Thank you The 12-16 gundog judge was Anthony Allen of the Allenie affix - think he has Irish Setters? Nope Labs/ESS! oops!

Absolutely brilliant news Rach, no wonder you are on cloud 9, and I'm so cross I wasn't there to share in your celebrations. xxx
