Moon Landings 1969

OK, so who thinks that the Apollo moon landings were faked?
I'm sad to have to admit that I remember the fuss on TV about "One small step for a man......".

So, come on, conspiracy theorists, let's be having you!

Take a look HERE

If the United States did land on the moon, how do you explain away so many anomalies?

I think they didn't...I think it was staged to scare Russia.

ah.

ive heard all these photographic anomalies before.
fortean times (the magazine about the paranormal) ran those from this very site, then explained why they are all perfectly reasonable photography technical points

there was a photography expert on another dog forum who also explained them all.

this bit seems to be clutching at straws:
Another example that appears to be faked is the footage of Earth taken from the Apollo 11 when it was 130,000 miles away. This is the very first view ever taken of Earth on the mission and it seems strange that Buzz Aldrin would film the Earth when he was stood far away from the window, why would he do that?

Well one theory is that there were no stars seen in the sky in the pictures sent back from the moon to the earth....

The Moon's surface is airless. On Earth, our thick atmosphere scatters sunlight, spreading it out over the whole sky. That's why the sky is bright during the day. Without sunlight, the air is dark at night, allowing us to see stars.

On the Moon, the lack of air means that the sky is dark. Even when the Sun is high off the horizon during full day, the sky near it will be black. If you were standing on the Moon, you would indeed see stars, even during the day.

OMG some people have too much time on their hands

'No stars are visible in the pictures taken by the Apollo astronauts from the surface of the Moon.

The Apollo landing takes place during lunar mornings, with the Sun shining brightly. Exposure time on the cameras is set very rapid so as not to let in too much light and obscure detail. The stars, whilst being visible to the naked eye on the Moon, are not bright enough to be captured in the photographs.'

As an example, a photographers explanation for above.
