Trouble with sedation is it does not stop dog being scared just unable to react to them I would not personally sedate kai,but might take a tablet myself its a nightmare here

Poor Dogs really hope the firework law changes soon

The Dogs trust have said if you have to sedate your Dog the Best Drug is Diazepam it does not stop you Dog being totally scared but it does cause short term memory lose so the Dog does not remember it was Scared How they work that I don't Know (think Ill leave that one to the experts ).

OMG that is terrible advice better to give a natural product like Melatonin & use the DAP infuser/sprays or homoeopathic/sun/flower remedies than chemicals

It did say If you HAVE to use Drugs So not bad advice really!.

Mine have all the above and more and they made No difference what so ever although Works wonders for others So well worth trying first although its a bit late now

I would not sedate but if I had to this would be my Drug of choice

Poor Buster, but if he is really scared I understand why you do it.

Feel so sorry for all of you with dogs who hate the fireworks. I'm so glad my two are bomb proof, Molly is from gundog stock and has always been fine (had her out with the gun and all sorts). Nudge just seems to take her lead from Molly and is laying here at my feet fast asleep with the bangers going off outside even now.
Take care folks and good luck with your pets over the next week or so.
x
