I appear to be stuck with him.

For those of you who aren't linked to me on 'that popular social networking site', it appears that I am stuck with Timmi!

After having him returned twice and no more interest in him, having had him in foster for about five months, I decided I'd rather he just stayed than get brought back worse again.

I've got him completely out of the biting - he's generally a pleasure to own except for the terrier side of him liking to yap at things when he's excited.

After his morning walk he settles down with the girls and myself while I get some work done or he goes on deliveries with me and the girls. He goes to see one of my customers who is an elderly lady with learning difficulties and she thinks he's fab. He's gone from a biting case potentially due to be pts to almost a therapy dog!

He's done Takara a world of good as she plays with him, has lost weight as a result and is much better on her legs (she was never massive, but just slightly over what she should've been).

Everybody that meets him loves him but nobody wanted to take him home - so he's staying.

I was adamant he wasn't, but I'm too bloody soft!

I've told him, he's to earn his keep if he's staying...

lol - you never know. I had a foster for ages and resigned myself to keeping him - only for the perfect family to turn up. These things have a habit of working out for the best, I find.

Nah - I've adopted him from the rescue now, and he's insured with me etc. Once I've decided they're staying, they stay for life.

He's good for the girls, and he's no trouble. Just means holidays are EVEN harder to book!

Yeah - well done Timmi is about right! Everyone reckons he's messed it up in the last two homes because he wanted to stay.

Whenever I tried to introduce him to new people before and show him off, he acted really aloof and would have nothing to do with them, so nobody was interested - since I decided to keep him, he's running up to everyone to say hi!

I swear, the dog knows!

Before we got Reg I saw a lovely little dog on a re-homing site.
Rang up his fosterer and she said he was an angel for her but had been returned three times, all for totally different offences...she swore each time he returned he swaggered up her path with a big smile on his face

but, of course, he does. He knew where he wanted to be and so made sure it was where he was going to stay
