I wonder to be honest if its time to call it a day and put a ban on any CM thread, as it always ends up the same way.

Although , this time we seem to have an influx of supporters , which is not something you usually see on a dog (informed) forum, as most doggy folk, who understand canine language, will on the whole be on the same page.

Its a coincidence that after that interview, and his subsequent tour, we have pro CM`ers , popping up all the time.

Azz, just a thought, we did it with the Tamaskan topic,, maybe time for a new one ???

I'm not pro cm.you clearly feel threatened by debate with the need to try and patronise. I'm very happy with my knowledge, and always happy to learn more. Some it seems feel the need to try and big themselves up at any opportunity.

I don't think we need to ban any topic... but do feel it's one of those things where we make an official statement - so here ya go

The real problem in my opinion is that lots of people get a dog and put almost no effort into early socialisation or into training and don't even have a basic knowledge of dog training.

Once the puppy novelty has worn off the dog gets almost no attention and then the owner wonders why they have a problem dog! "Doh"

I'd rather Cesar Milan look after my dog than any of these people thats for sure.
Victoria Stillwell is also on TV rehabilitating dogs and teaching owners how to walk them
Sadly I had a conversation with other dog walkers around here and the universal view of the rest of them was they couldnt be bothered with VS's methods of faffing about with treats and taking ages, they much prefered CM's way of one psssst and the dog was cured

Not really giving them hope when they try it in the real world and find out it isnt a magic noise that cures dogs and CM's show is heavily edited so you dont see that even his method takes time

I don't think anyone feels threatened.... just sick to death of these arguments going round and round and round

Instead of a ban maybe an announcement suggesting that new members do a search on CM before posting so that they can get a general feel for what our long standing members think of him.

Your wrong, I don't feel threatened by any debate, merely fed up with the same old, same old.

When you have been round long enough you will see what I mean.

Sorry for mistaking you as pro CM, it was formed on the context of your posts

I agree with you Azz, would not usually suggest such things, it's just down to frustration watching these threads go the way the do, the same old over again and again
