How much does hip scoring cost these days?

It's been so long since I had a dog done, I just wondered what the BVA charges were and what your vet has charged for the anaesthetic.

BVA scoring is £50 I think.

I just had Kiba's hips x-rayed when he went in for his castration and it cost me £135 on top of the cost of castration, that included the BVA cost. Think it would have been around £300 if he hadn't been under GA anyway for the castration.

Siren was done 2 years ago - Cost £170 all in.
She was done under sedation I think not a GA - that may have made a difference.

Isla had hers done a couple of years ago and I think it cost about £150. I wouldn't want to pay more than £200 really, but I'm very tight!

I know, I think £100 is pushing it anyway for such a simple and quick procedure.

A good Vet will only need one plate Jackbox. Thing is, the more they stuff it up the more they charge you!
