Sorry - insurance question

I know it has more than likely been done to death but who is everyone with for insurance (for your dogs) and would you reccomend them?

Thinking of Sainsbury's. But not sure

Star is insured with More Than, we have not had to claim yet

Marks & Spencer is a good one and if I changed it would be to them.

Argos for Gus ( paid out eventually) but wont be renewing as they only insure up to age 8 plus only cover for 12 months of illness

Libby is with M&S . About £9 a month- insures up to £7,000 ( one of the highest) and cover for life

Is Sal not insured ? I would definitely recommend it to anyone- you never know what will happen to your dogs and Insurance has paid out over £700 so far for Gus's food sensitivity
It also covers for third party liability ( if your dog causes and accident), cover for advertising if your dog is lost and if he or she should die

With Petplan for Sal very very good and I know you get what you pay for but I think a little high as rates to reinsure have gone up in a letter this morning. So looking around.

Sainsbury's Vet fees up to £6,500 per accident or illness (need to check if or arguments sake has a hip replaced then the other 2 years later would they pay? or class as I illnes/condition)
Lifetime cover No time on claim limits inc long runnig iles diabetes etc
Alternative treatments
Third Party liability up to £2 million

That sounded reasonable to me for £13.35 per pedigree dog but will look at M&S now Ta, £9 a month eh?

Think the monthly payments go down the higher the excess you are willing to pay out too

Hi Kazz I am with 'Pet Healthcare Services' which was originally rec. by my vet. They have been very good and paid out promptly on my one claim. The only problem is the premium is very high now Amy is 13 £19:99 and the excess has also gone up a lot but I guess that is the same with most companies...their benifits are good though. Who does your house /car? some companies give a discount for doing more than one.
