i was told it was to bring smells back to the pack, to let them know what was going on... but really i think it is because they are little gits jobie is too leggy to roll about in stuff thankfully, my old Millie would have had a lovely long coat but we had to clip it off because she kept rolling in things, she rolled in fox poo once and caught mange from it

Only two of my Chis do this rolling in smelly stuff. The others are too prim and proper to go near anything even slightly smelly

It's my boy Chi Bailey and my Chi girl Bambi. They will roll in anything, even bird poo, if they get a chance (dirty s*ds)
