Weight in Season

Skye has been in season now for a week, but today we have noticed shes looking a bit podgy, could this be bacuse she is in season? She has only had short walks on her lead rarther than her runs. So could a couple of extra pounds show this quick.

She put on about 7lb all together
Lost it pretty quick as soon as she finished her season though, back to her churpy self

She should lose it quickly once her season is finished. I did wonder whether it was a bit of excess water retention but never got around to asking any of my Vets (we moved around a lot which is why we had lots of Vets ) all my bitches looked plumper but lost it within a few days of finishing their seasons.
