Or find somethng in the shop and "make" it special play with it for short exciting periods then put it away but always make it interesting/fun/short then his attention will be focused on you/the toy.

A kong on a rope, makes an excellent 'tug' toy, and they're virtually indestuctable

Yep, but I meant a bigger one so he sort of head butts it rather than bites it Sal (SBT) adores hers.
