He was a handfull when I first brought him home, not with me but with children. He truley hated them. He also had a "thing" about anyone using crutches or even carring a large stick. The guy that owned him keep him starved and would beat him with a large stick to make him meaner. I could not let me off lead anywhere until I got him over this because he would try and attack. Today a dog like him would must likley be put to sleep but this was years ago and the pound did not do testing.
To make a long story short with a lot of hard work he made a full recovery LOL. :smt049
I should find someone with a scanner so I can post some pictures of him and of my Dobe Tina. She was also a pound dog.

He was really special to me Kazz. Funny it was just a fluke that I even ended up at the pound the evening I did. Randy was in a large cage and he was the first dog I saw, and I was taken with him right away. After I had been talking with him for abit he starting jumpung staight into the air and barking with joy...I guess he knew something I didn't. :smt049

Oh wow he is handsome.

GSD is also one of my favourite dogs, but babysitting Bella, a 1 year old GSD has made me see that picking a labrador for me was the right thing.

Bella is very hyper and noisy, but I do love her - no doubt about that.

Bella belongs to my best friend and there is a picture of her on my picture thread of Luna
