Mary is a beautiful and gentle Podenco. She escaped from the local 'killing station' where she was due to be euthanised that day and came running across the road and climbed over the fence into SOS! Lucky for her as there is no way we would have let them take her back so we went and adopted her from the local pound so we could save her life.

She has settled in really well and gets on with all the other dogs, she is a sweet quiet girl who has lots of character just waiting to come out! She would love a quiet, active home, preferably with another doggy friend to teach her the ropes. She would like a home who will give her the time to come out of her shell in her own time, she loves cuddles but will need time to trust her new family first.

Mary will make a very special and loyal friend, she would be great with someone who has sighthound experience. She has so much to give.
