We've lost Mocha

Mocha, our tabby has been missing for about a week, she's done it before so haven't been too worried.

Well this morning she appeared, but seemed to be hurt. Her back legs were really sore especially her right leg, she growled if I tried to touch it. Although she did manage to stretch it out above her head to clean herself (go figure). Because I had to go to work I couldn't hang on to see what the problem was, she was eating and drinking and was okay otherwise. So I figure I'll take her to the vets tonight.

Unfortunately, OH, being half asleep this morning didn't notice her sitting at the door when he let Dougal out and left the door open while he went to do what men do in the loo and she's disappeared.

Now I can't find her, I've been everywhere locally apart from over to the burn (I'm heading there next once I've eaten). The local cat lover who feeds every cat who comes near his house (I really wish he wouldn't do that with ours), has been round as well cause I asked him if he had her lurking under his hedge or shed, and being the cat mad kind fellow he is he went round the gardens near him.

I'm just hoping she's not worse than she appeared and hasn't gone off somewhere...

Hopefully she hasn't gone too far if her leg is sore.

There's no sign along the burn, my next door neighbour is going to have a look under her shed and any quiet bits in her garden.

Here's hoping she reappears tonight or tomorrow.

Mocha has reappeared, she is moving slowly and is stiff but she is eating like a horse, she's eaten a full bowl of cat food and some milk.

She had managed to get into the rabbit hutch (this involves climbing up over the hutch and wiggling into the run to get into the hutch). I only figured something cause the cover for the run was bent inwards...she was dozing in his bed For some reason both our cats love sleeping with the rabbit...I have no idea why.

So she seems okay aside from stiff and sore. She is putting weight on both back legs but is sore if you touch.

Just hoping some ugly horrible git hasn't been kicking her.
