When i got khera she had such a bad diet and often had an upset tummy. If you were home she'd make it clear that she needed to go out if not she would go on the kitchen floor and eat it! I put it down to her 'clearing up' as she lived in quite a messy avery with previous owners and it did get dirty. Guess we wouldn't wanna live in own mess. When i changed her onto Burns real food her upset tummy stopped and she's never eaten her poo again

All my dogs did this initially and its totally natural to them, it gets vitamins ect in their diet that are wasted in their digestion. Just not to nice for us humans.
We completely changed our dogs diet to the raw meaty bones diet and on the odd occasion supplement it with burns or nature diet.
There are several good wesites but the best i think is
www.ukrmb.co.uk

Basically most of the comercial foods are full of additives and colourings, which are not ideal for any dog!

Hope that helps.

Have you tried distraction when out on walks? Take a toy and play with the dog when he heads purposefully for a steamy pile of nourishment? It`s more a question of breaking a bad habit.

I've not read your links yet but I will do.

Breagh is terrible for it.

She will catch poos as they drop from Skyes bum. She will even pull them from his bum as they poke out. I'm not sure what Fingal's done to put her off but she won't go near his despite him having the same food as Skye.

Hi, I also have this problem with Ayla but its not her poo she will eat, instead she will go through the bins and get my sons dirty nappy and eat that!! I've tried putting nappied at the very bottom of the bin but she just digs them out.
Any ideas on how to stop this?
