Silly question about smelly wee

Our new boy Maverick is settling in well however I have noticed he has very smelly wee, and I mean seriously smelly. My back yard stinks despite disinfecting it twice a day. He seems fine in himself and eats and drinks plenty, there is always water down both inside and out.
So is there any chance something could be wrong or does he just have Strong wee.
Maverick is a 2 year old neutered GSDx

Does he wee a lot or only when he needs it? It could just be concentrated. Having said that our old BC had seriously stinky wee and he wasn't well, but had lots of other symptoms too...he drank far too much for example. You could always pop a sample to your vets and ask them to check it out for you?!

If it is seriously strong I would just take a sample to the vets, just to put your mind at ease

He may just have pongy pee ,but it is probably best to get it checked out.

A big indicator is when there is a change from the normal - problem become more noticable.

Boys can have strong wee. xx

I would go back to the rescue and ask advice too.

He may have picked up an infection or something from kennels so would be good idea to take sample to the vets to be sure. xxxx
