Its not a wireless keyboard is it?? i have the same trouble with mine even when i change the batts over! Its the infra red conection that goes now and then.

Sorted, arn't kids brilliant, when things go wrong with the laptop, ask a 10 year old, and viola, back to normal with a tut and and that's old folk for you look , I'd hit numbers lock apparantly, that's why I couldn't do anything with the right side of the keyboard and if I look carefully I can see in little blue writing all the things I was getting instead of what I was trying to type

Are you sure that's all it was coz I had the very same thing half an hour ago???????? I had to keep going back to fill in the gaps!!! I'm sure itwas something going on in Dogsey Christine???? That's weird coz mine's all betternow too!

Well it might have been a coinsidence, but came on here to show him and tried to type and got just what I had before, he pressed two buttons ( ) and it was all back to normal, on my keyboard, where the letters are I got the following u=4, i=5, o=6, p=- and so on and that what I was getting when I tried to type.
