Reo, Staffie, DOB 10.09 - Twickenham, Middlesex

Reo, Staffie, DOB 10.09 - Twickenham, Middlesex

Homing Requirements: Reo needs to be in a family who are confident around dogs and supportive toward a sensitive dog. Reo benefits from living with another dog and would live with dog savvy older children. Not for cats or small furries. Needs 6' panel fencing and exit awareness.

His Story: Reo was homed as a pup in with another dog and child. Reportedly the child delighted in pulling on his tail and he was returned to the breeder at 6 months having been bitten by the resident dog. His current responsible owners took him in and neutered, vax'd and chipped him. He is sensitive e.g fireworks freak him. However he is achieving and as he matures his confidence is developing. His companion dog is dominant which feeds into his nerves. His owners feel he needs a quieter household as they are expecting a second child. He will be retained by his current family in Twickenham until he finds his new home.

Advert: Reo is now 18 months old and despite having a chaotic but social first puppy home, he has now had good training and care. He enjoys his walks and the company of other dogs. Loves to play with a tennis ball. Reo knows many commands, sleeps in the kitchen, doesn't get on furniture unless for cuddles and sits by your feet. He loves the car and is an off lead dog BUT will steal any footballs should he spy them! Reo loves going on bike rides. Yes he will jump up to say hello but responds to the ‘no’! word.

Reo is a beauty who really doesn't deserve to have lost 2 homes. He has achieved many skills from his current family and situation. He is in very good health, loved and slowly achieving in areas which were wanting. Reo would benefit from living with another dog and could live with respectful children who honour his space. An excellent dog who would make a willing companion for another dog and thrive on an active lifestyle.
