A trip to the woods

A little over 2 weeks ago I came downstairs to find my 3 year old Chocolate Lab Rosie had died in the night, just gone to sleep and not woken up, the vet reckoned it was heart related.

Its getting better but my Lab X Cocker Misty has been somewhat nervous out and about without her big pal to back her up so it was a delight to see her having such a fantastic time today in the sunshine.

Yes Meg it was awful, but her short life was a good one.

To be that swift there was obviously an underlying heath issue which took her away from us. My only comfort is that it was quick and not a drawn out period of suffering.

Oh dear what a shock. I would be devastated if that happened to my Amber, but your little one is certainly full of the joys of spring. Thank God you have her. Wish Amber loved water as most Labs do but not for Amber for some reason.

What a happy girl Misty is - running so fast and exploring the place really thoroughly - she is gorgeous.

How sad for you to have lost Rosie so suddenly and at such a young age - the one blessing, as you say, is that she would not have suffered any pain or distress. Run free Rosie xx

Aw I can't see the photo!

Sorry for your loss and hope Misty will be getting over the loss of her big pal!

Hugs to her!

(There is something wrong with my flash player and it won't update!)
