Spaniels - Field/Working Cocker??
Can anyone tell me if there is a criteria for identifying Field Spaniels from working Cockers?Our two say on their pedigrees that they are Cockers, but they definately don't look like show Cockers, and seem a bit big for working Cockers. I believe they are Fields, but as I say, it states Cocker on their documents. If they were Fields would it state Field Spaniels?

By 'documents' do you mean their pedigrees? A reputable breeder would not risk their reputation by falsifying pedigree forms.
In many breeds you will find considerable differences between show dogs & working dogs.

I didn't for one second thing our breeder had falsified any documents. I just find it very difficult to spot the difference between Field Spaniels and Working Cockers by appearance.
