Hope everyone is doing OK.

Not been around much lately. In hospital (A&E) for a week getting two lots of intravenous drips four times a day. An antibotic and paracetemol for pain.

Serious eye infection and probably shingles. My left eye was closed for several days

Missed taking the dog out for his usual walks - my wife has being doing it for me.

The impaired vision means I can't drive and reading is a problem too.

Yes the two of you are both troopers, that's really a great time to be together, hope the blood pressure checks show nothing bad.

'evening everyone

Lynn sounds like you and Gordon are just like us, we always struggle to find a pressie for each other on birthdays and anniversaries I used to get clothing but hardly need anything now since I have given up wearing suits and ties

For those that asked, the second results from the lab (Where they 'grew' the culture or summit ) came back as confirming the A/B's (Synuclav) are the correct ones for the type of lung infection that she has.

So I collected 40 tablets at 3 quid each to day she's doing OK, still a bit quiet, but thankfully no coughing at all.

Casey is also on the Synuclav A/B's and is much better, I'm supposed to rub this Flamazine cream on his leg but every time I do he just licks it off and I'm worried it might be poisonous.

Moyra, sorry the wall thing is still not resolved, and horrified to read about water. You must think about a move with (or without) Steve. There must be something out there. Are you still going to have the long weekend break you were thinking about
