I'm afraid, due to the cost of the refurbishment, the admission has been increased from tripe sticks to pigs ears!! Or maybe something from the US????!!!

Thanks Carole Thanks Suze

Wow, its been very tastefully done Helen. You must be so proud. Watch that mum mind she'll be wanting a balcony out the back next!

Looks fab Helen well done for sticking it out, its been a tough time for you, lets hope you can relax soon and enjoy the room.

Thanks Dani, and I can't tell you how glad I am that they've all gone!!! You know what it's like and I hope you're all finished now??!! Some days I had 12 or 13 men on site, all very well, but.......

Thanks A, I think it's very Hyacinth isn't it!! I bet you've got good taste too!

Thanks Sue, I'm brimming over with the finished article, and yes, those views are to die for, so glad we didn't move and stuck it out!

Lol Luz! Funnilly enough that's exactly what I said, although they wouldn't have allowed a balcony at the front, they maybe would have allowed us one at the rear hmmmmm........ no, don't even go there!!!

Oh I will Fudgeley, and thanks for giving me an insight into all the work, which wasn't too bad really, it was only because we had the rest of the house revamped that made so much mess, and knocking walls down in the hall to accommodate the stairs, that was the biggest nightmare. I just love it, especially all the beautiful coving going on up there, I feel so snug and cosy in my little room, I can't wait to get up there at night!!
