Please help me identify breed!

I adopted my sweet Sunny last year from the local Shelter. They told me they thought she was some kind of German wire haired pointer, but they weren't sure. I was wondering if anyone else had any guess on what mix she could be?

She's mostly a fawn color with bits of black and white, yellow eyes. She has wire hair and non wire hair. Medium to large dog, around 62 pounds, 2 and half feet tall. She had a docked tail before I adopted her. She normally has longer hair, due to an incident in the mountains we had to give her a hair cut.

Gorgeous dog - I can't see any wirehaired pointer in her, but who cares? Love her anyway, I wouldn't worry about what she is, she is beautiful!

I do love this sweet girl, no matter what breed she is. I am mostly asking because we're moving onto a military base and a lot of the forms require a type of breed. I agree that she doesn't look like a German wire haired pointer, but I don't really have an idea of what other breed she could be.

You don't need a specific breed for the forms - you just state "crossbreed" - they won't require anything more specific.

Good looking girl.
Reminds me of a deerhound/boxer mix I met a few years ago.

She is a beautiful looking dog. I have no idea what breeds might be in her make-up but you can do DNA tests now which may give more of an insight if you were really interested (although I am not sure how accurate they are).
